The tropical pineapple!

 

Pineapple is an incredibly delicious and healthy tropical fruit. It originated in South America and it was named after its resemblance to a pinecone. This fruit has extremely good qualities to it, check out its health benefits:

Good source of antioxidants that reduce risks of chronic diseases. Packed with variety of vitamins and minerals.

Contains an enzyme called bromelain, that helps with digestion. Reduce oxidative stress and inflammation.

May boost immune system.

Chefs Tip:

When cooking with pineapple, try not to use canned pineapples as this is very unhealthy use fresh pineapples. The health benefits are not the same!
